Break, score, fuse, wrap, grout, cut & teach. That pretty well describes what happens at Stuff From the Bunker Art Studio. Who does what you ask? Well, that all depends and can get a bit confusing. Troy cuts the wood, Deborah breaks the plates, scores the glass, fuses the glass, cuts the plates, grouts, wraps the wire& teaches. Janeen scores the glass, breaks the glass, breaks the plates, grouts & teaches. , Jeni scores the glass, breaks the glass, wraps the wire, puts the glass together to be fused, grouts & teaches. Got that? Oh, and we mustn't forget the student's they are the whole reason we are here. Our wonderful students break the plates, score the glass, break the glass, put the glass together to be fused, fuse the glass, wrap the glass, wrap the wire, grouts, and everyone creates beautiful pieces of art! Hope I didn't forget anything! All this to tell you we love to do mosaic art, fused glass, wire wrapped jewelry and fine wood crafts. We hope you will join us.

Wow, a lot has happened at the Studio lately, if you are not signed up for our kinda, sorta monthly newsletter you are missing out on all the news fit to print around here LOL. Some days I am meeting myself coming and going and don't know what direction I am suppose to be traveling in anymore. Actually I think that is just my type A, fibro fogged, personality...

Stuff From the Bunker Art Studio held their second Fused Glass Jewelry Event last Sunday, Nov. 7th. and it was a roaring success. Thanks to a wonderful feature article in the Muncie StarPress we had 14 people RSVP and 20 showed up!
Our Fused Glass Jewelry Event was a chance to educate potential students on just what fused glass really is, how it is made and how easy it is to do. My Student coordinator, along with one of my students and I had created a beautiful room full ...

Good morning from the Bunker Studio. It looks like it will be another beautiful day, not as hot as it has been. That is good since I can't handle the heat anymore. Going to try and work in the gardens today, the weeds are taking them over.
Janeen and I had a booth at the Winchester, IN Art on the Square Fe...

Good morning and happy Father's Day. We celebrated our Father's Day yesterday by taking my Father in Law out for dinner but, we will go visit him again this evening after Troy gets off work. It is so hard to find gift ideas for someone who has everything they want and plenty of money for anything they decide they need. Pop, my FIL enjoys us visiting more than anything we could buy him. The only other thing he seems to get a kick out of is...

Good morning, or at least it is morning in Indiana. A wet & fresh smelling morning. We got rain last night with some thunder and lightning but nothing bad as far as our little world. Hopefully no one else had any damage.
Everything looks so fresh and clean this morning. Some of the flowers are bending under the weight of their blooms and all the rain on them but as soon as the sun com...

After working for several weeks to get ready for the Hip Sips Show at Wilson Winery in Modoc Indiana the day of the show came and went without us getting to go.
Wilson Winery is a small, family owned winery about 30 minutes from us and from what we have heard they do all sorts of amazingly fun things there. Hip Sips was an art show, jazz band music festival and wine tasting event to benefit Cancer Se...

Good morning! At leat it is morning here, like 4:30 on the morning and I am up and ready
to work on this studio. For some strange reason I started pulling everything out of cabinets, off shelves and anyplace else where supplies are stored and they are all in the middle of the floor now. It has been so hot the past few days that I just couldn't get in the mood to organize it all so now I just have to find it all a home or there won't be a class t...

I attended the board meeting of Full Circle Art Co-op and was very impressed with thier professionalism in running the Board meeting, their goals for contributing to the local art scene and just overall how they conduct business. This is a non-profit group that I plan to become as involved in as my health and commitments here at the studio and family allow.

We just entered Stuff From the Bunker Art Studio into a contest sort of on Intuit. Small business owners can win a grant to use towards their business. What a blessing it would be if we won that grant! We could do so much with it, buy some new equiptment we need, more advertising and reach out to members of the community who would like to find their creativity and talent. Troy, Janeen and I would be so happy to be able to do those things ...

Hmmm, not sure what is going on but my computer seems to be acting wonky. first it kept telling me it was closing the browser due to a probem but it didn't close it and I could keep on doing what I was doing. Then it started coming up where I could see the heading and pic's on websites but not any writting. Hard to read other peoples blog that way. So, guess I am gonna have to do some diagnosis on this durn machine,
